SMILES AWARD CHART

 

 

 

Smiles Tickets and One Way Any Day Smiles Tickets Charts are subject to change, without prior notice and are applicable according to route availability on VRG Linhas Aéreas.

 

General Terms

 

1. Smiles and Smiles Any Day Tickets shall only be valid for VRG Linhas Aéreas routes operated by GOL or VARIG anywhere in South America or between South America and the Caribbean.

 

2. Stopovers are not permitted between origin and destination.

 

3. Up to 4 (four) connecting flights between origin and destination will be permitted for Smiles awards. On domestic routes connections are characterized when there is an interval of up to 4 (four) hours between 2 flights.

 

4. Smiles and Any Day Smiles Tickets must be issued with one route only for origin and destination points within South America.

 

5. Embargo periods for Smiles and Any Day Smiles Tickets on VRG Linhas Aéreas flights operated by GOL or VARIG may be introduced, modified or suspended as per the company's discretion without notice.

 

6. Reservation change/ Rerouting/ Refund/ Re-issuance.
Applied to Smiles and Any Day Smiles Tickets.

 

6.1. Change in Reservation after issuing the ticket – Changes in time, flight and date are permitted when maintaining the same departure and destination locations, for awards not used and still within their validity period, with payment of the fee in effect at the time, through the Smiles Customer Service Centers or VRG Linhas Aéreas stores, identified by the GOL or VARIG brands, by the Member or his representative (with written authorization and the Member's identification documents). Validity of the Smiles Ticket or Smiles Any Day Ticket updated with the new flight and date shall be the same as the original ticket issued. Information on documentation needed and the administrative fee for changing the flight / date can be obtained on the Smiles site or at the Smiles Customer Service Center.

 

6.2. Changes in Itinerary for the route with the same award value - Changes in route, changes in flight departure and destination locations, are permitted when maintaining the same parameter of miles according to the Smiles Award Table for awards not used and still within their validity period, with payment of the fee in effect at the time, through the Smiles Customer Service Centers or VRG Linhas Aéreas stores, identified by the GOL or VARIG brands, by the Member or his representative (with written authorization and the Member's identification documents), as per the security items described in item 2.3. of this Regulation. Validity of the Smiles Ticket or Smiles Any Day Ticket updated with the new route shall be the same as the original ticket issued. Information on documentation needed and the administrative fee for changing the itinerary can be obtained on the Smiles site or at the Smiles Customer Service Center.

 

6.2.1. Changes in Itinerary for legs with award parameters involving more or fewer miles – Permitted only for Smiles Tickets and Smiles Any Day Tickets, which have not been used and are still within the award validity period and the validity period for the miles involved when issuing the ticket. The Member must request reimbursement of the award (see item 6.3) and request a new Smiles Award through the Smiles site, Smiles Customer Service Center or VRG Linhas Aéreas stores identified with the GOL or VARIG brands, as per the security items described in item 2.3. of this Regulation.

 

6.3. Reimbursement – Permitted for Smiles Tickets and Smiles Any Day Tickets, which have not been used and are still within their validity period, with payment of the fee in effect at the time. Only valid miles shall be returned to the Member's account. Reimbursement may be requested through the Smiles Customer Service Center or VRG Linhas Aéreas stores identified with the GOL or VARIG brands, by the Member or his representative (with written authorization and the Member's identification documents), as per the security items described in item 2.3. of this Regulation. Information on the validity of miles, documentation needed and the administrative fee for reimbursement can be obtained from the Smiles Customer Service Center.

 

The Smiles Program Rules are effective as of November 10th 2009 (included) as a VRG Linhas Aéreas product and replaces the previous rules.
