- • To qualify for bonus miles with VARIG SMILES per stay, guest must be a member of Starwood Preferred Guest®, and present the Starwood Preferred Guest member number at check-in. Using the Airline Direct Deposit SM option in the SPG account, Starpoints earned during stay will be converted automatically to the airline account as miles and cannot be transferred again to the Starwood Preferred Guest account.
